Epitome Home Care Agency is a company formed with an aim to provide a comfortable, safe and caring environment for elderly people who for reasons of age, frailty or loneliness feel they need help with a variety of tasks and chores in the comfort of their own homes.

Our overall aim is to provide every Service User with the highest possible standards of individualized care within a friendly, homely and supportive environment. Quality of life is paramount and Service User’s rights are safeguarded and respected.

THE AGENCY AIMS TO:

  1. Offer skilled care to enable people supported by us to achieve their optimum state of health and well-being
  2. Treat all people supported by us and all people who work here with respect at all times
  3. Uphold the human and citizenship rights of all who work and visit here and of all Service Users
  4. Support individual choice and personal decision-making as the right of all service users
  5. Respect and encourage the right of independence of all Service users
  6. Recognise the individual uniqueness of Service Users, staff and visitors, and treat them with dignity and respect at all times
  7. Respect individual requirement for privacy at all times and treat all information relating to individuals in a confidential manner
  8. Recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualised programmes of meaningful activity to satisfy that need of Service Users and staff
  9. Ensure that the care is person centred
  10. Deliver home care and provide information about care and support options
  11. Planning and reviewing home care and support
  12. Work in partnership with our Service Users to ensure that their views, wishes and choices shape their individual plans of care and the delivery and review of that care
  13. Value our Service Users’ life experiences and knowledge and reflect this in the care planning process
  14. Work closely with other members of the care team to ensure that care remains relevant as the needs change over time
  15. Ensure that our Service Users interests are represented in decisions about their care particularly where disabilities make expression difficult. This may include family/friends or the Advocacy Services
  16. Value the role which relatives and friends play in their care and provide support for them when needed
  17. Respect the rights of our Service Users particularly with regard to privacy, dignity, choice, security needs and are free from discrimination, bullying or harassment
  18. Deal sensitively and promptly with any concerns or complaints our Service Users may wish to raise

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES :

  1. Develop an outstanding home care and good reputation for our service
  2. Provide staff that are trained and knowledgeable about care of the elderly people and ensure that care is evidence based
  3. Recruiting, training and supporting home care workers
  4. Maintaining financial strength and stability
